I decided to try nail stickers again. This time I went with stickers by Nail Bliss a brand sold at Sally's Beauty Supply.
I was more pleased with the results than my last attempt with Dollar Tree Donna Michelle nail art stickers. these applied much more evenly and did not catch on hair.
Although I did find the sizing to be a little off, and none of the stickers completely covered the nail. So I painted stripes of black on the sides of each nail to mask my natural nail that showed through. I used Diamond Cosmetics nail striper in the color Black Glitter.
Over all I was impressed with this product it is long lasting although I did notice a little peeling on the third day of wear after washing the dishes. It also does not apply completely smooth like a nail lacquer would, but you do get the benefit of beautiful designs. I think I would give this product a 6 out of 10. I was slightly impressed but it doesn't stand out to me as a better alternative to nail polish.

Ombra de Minthe
I created this mint colored ombre effect using 5 different shades of mint nail polish.
Starting with the pinky I used Sally Hansen Fairy Teal, Sinful Colors Rise and Shine, Sinful Colors Mint Apple, Avon Jade, and Julie G Gelato in Venice.
